Imagine a deep pot of stew, or a large pan of frying eggs: the balloon spoon is a utensil made for such big occasions. The slender head works well in griddles and pans for those foods that need flipping, while the long handle is useful for dutch ovens and roasting pans.
The form of the spoon was inspired by an inflated balloon, which has the most (im)perfect circular shape, in my opinion.
Hand made and finished in Portland with walnut or sugar maple.
